I live a fairly regimented life and it works because we have many obligations which requires good planning and adhering to a schedule. This sometimes leaves little room for spontaneity. So, since school will be out as of Tuesday I am going to say YES more often!
More opportunities to get ice cream, have a friend over, paint a t-shirt or bake cupcakes. More hugs, more laughter, more love.
Does the house really have to be cleaned TODAY or can it wait until another day? Can I say yes instead of no?
As I was writing the above statements, DD asked if I could drop her off at the local mall (she had asked for a friend to come over and I was up for that). I didn't want to drive her to the mall, she wasn't even dressed, I was recovering from a wicked migraine. I was VERY tempted to say no...but I said yes.
This is going to be a hard one too!
